What is my student profile?

Your student profile contains the basic information we need to give you access to the HP Online classes:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address
  • Password

You must have a valid profile in order to access classes. Click Edit Profile in the left navigation to review your profile information.

My student profile information is incorrect. How do I change it?

To update your profile information, click Edit Profile in the left hand navigation to access the Edit Profile Information page. From this page you can:

  • Click Change Your Password to change your password.
  • Click Change Your Message Board Alias to change your message board alias.
  • Click Change Edit Profile to change your e-mail address or name
  • Click Change Your E-mail Settings to change your e-mail settings.

Follow the instructions on the resulting pages to complete your profile information update.

What are e-mail settings?

Your e-mail settings control whether or not you receive offers and updates from qualified HP partners as well as the kind of e-mail messages you receive from the HP Online classes website. To change your e-mail settings:

  • Click Edit Profile in the top left navigation.
  • On the Edit Profile Information page, click Change Your E-mail Settings.
  • On the E-mail Settings page, set your e-mail preferences.
  • Click Save Changes when you are done.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time. To create a new password for your profile:

  • Click Edit Profile in the top left navigation.
  • On the Edit Profile Information page, click Change Your Password.
  • On the Change Password page, enter your current password into the Current Password field.
  • Enter your new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.
  • Click Change Password.

How do I keep track of all my classes? How do I see my completed classes?

Click Your classes in the top left navigation to access a complete record of your class activities at the HP Online classes website, including:

  • Your current classes: those classes in which you are enrolled that have not yet reached their end date and that still have lessons you have not reviewed
  • Your past classes: those classes in which you were enrolled that reached their end date before you reviewed all of the lessons.
  • Your completed classes: those classes in which you reviewed all lessons.

Click Lessons to access all of the posted lessons in your current classes. Once a class has ended, you will not be able to go back to complete lessons, assignments, or quizzes.

Click the Transcript link for any past or complete class to review a list of lessons and assignments you completed as well as the scores for any quizzes you took. Quizzes and assignments that you do not complete will not be included in your transcript.

What if I've forgotten my password?

For your protection, your password is encrypted in our system. Because it is encrypted, we cannot look up your password information. However, you may follow these steps to have your current password reset to a new password:

  • Click Edit Profile in the top left navigation.
  • On the Login Required page, click Forgot your password.
  • On the Forgot Password page, enter your e-mail address and click Submit.
  • Look in your e-mail in box for a message from HP Online classes with your new password.
  • Use this password and your e-mail address to log into HP Online classes. This password will be a randomly generated password, so you may want to follow the instructions above to change this new password to one you can more easily remember.
